The Vet On Broadway (TVOB) opened its doors on January 1, 2024, as the third clinic in the Vets of East Texas family. Founded by Dr. Erica Dumeyer and Dr. Robert Gribble, our practice was created with a clear vision: to provide top-quality veterinary care in Tyler, TX, while building lasting relationships with pets, their families, and our community.
Our Mission and Vision at The Vet On Broadway
Mission: The Vet On Broadway strives to provide veterinary care for wellness, illness, and injury, while also connecting with the community through outreach, fundraisers, and client education.
Vision: Dr. Dumeyer and Dr. Gribble established TVOB to expand access to trusted, compassionate veterinary medicine. To achieve this, they built a team of experienced, diverse professionals who share the same goal – improving the health and wellness of as many animals as possible.
Our Team Culture
At TVOB, we believe in practicing gold standard medicine while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Our staff is highly trained, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous learning. We work together to provide thorough care and clear communication, helping pet owners make informed decisions that give their animals more healthy years.
Our story is one of growth and shared values. Dr. Dumeyer began as an associate veterinarian at The Vet On Fourth in 2018, and by 2023, realized her dream of co-owning a clinic in Tyler. She recruited Jessica, who had been a senior technician since 2019, to serve as Practice Manager. Senior technician Madeline, who worked at The Vet On Fourth for years, joined the new clinic as well—bringing her skill and passion back into the field. Together, this team built a practice designed for patients, clients, and staff alike.

- Advanced Technology: Our clinic features an in-house diagnostic lab, Samsung ultrasound, CO2 surgical laser, surgical suite, dental suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, oxygen kennel, Class 4 therapy laser, and an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation.
- Extended Hours: We are open 365 days a year, with a doctor available from 10 AM to 10 PM to provide care when pets need it most.
- Specialized Services: Orthopedic capabilities, physical therapy, and rehabilitation set us apart from many local practices.
Community Involvement
Our commitment extends beyond our clinic doors. We actively participate in local outreach, fundraisers, and educational events to strengthen the bond between pets and their families. In 2024, we were honored to sponsor the Down Right Awesome Ranch Rodeo, supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Looking Ahead
The Vet On Broadway is proud to be part of the growing Tyler community near the Cumberland Strip Mall, and we are continuously working toward new milestones. One of our goals is to achieve AAHA accreditation within the next year, joining our sister clinics, The Vet On Fourth and West Main, in this distinction.
